The Spellchecker In OpenOffice
Last week I began a post about using the spellchecker in OpenOffice and this week I have just posted part 2.
This part follows on from last week's posting and expands on how to use the spellcheck box. It also tells you what to do if the word you want does not appear in the suggested words list - something that happens to me all too frequently!
OpenOffice has an excellent spellchecker that is a joy to use. However, to get the most out of it you must be able to use it well and so this post, and the one last week, are well worth reading.
Spellchecking is also a big subject to write about and next week I will be looking at one of my favourite subjects to do with spellchecking which is that of user dictionaries. These can make spellchecking so much easier but are something that many people seem not to understand too well.
A link to the blog is here. Posts on OpenOffice are posted (with luck) each Friday.
